Hi
Had a fantastic Christmas. Though I was ill all through it.
Went to see St Trinians yesterday with Vic. Love it. Was super.
Though it was going to bit a bit of a wash out because I love the old black and white ones with Alistair Sims. It was really done well.
There are loads of dodgy jokes you have to watch out for. Best was when there had Colin Firth being pushed out of the window and then walking across the grass looking like Mr Darcy.
Russal Brand does need a few acting lesson but he wasn't bad.
The girls were good and loads of super backing songs.
Would like to go and see it again.

Inspected again.

The school has been inspected again. Don't think it went as well as OFSTED he watched my RE lesson. I was teaching Hinduisum not my best subject. He should have come on Friday when I was doning Science and we were learning about evaporation and I have the class outside pertending to be molecules in a puddle. Why can they understand a concept which is really hard and you can;t even see it happening but they don't got the muiltpication is just repeated addition.

Starting to get all Christmasy. Going to a panto soon. We don't do school plays thank God because I'm only just caught up with last weeks to do list.

Going to wrap some presents now. things have started to arrive in the post. BT sorted out. Only two proper teaching weeks left untill Christmas and have just found out we don't have to be back until the 7th of Jan. Plus Easter is crazy this year as well and we have extra long.

Perfect.

Halloween

Sorted at last.

Finally we have made progress with BT. Someone with a little bit of sense has spoken to us and resolved our problem with the installation charge. It has only taken 2 months.
Not long to go now before we break up from school. I'm back to shopping on the Internet for Christmas goodies. Last year I think most people ended up with the 3 for 2 offer at Boots.
Hopefully I will do better this year.
I'm still trying to get round to the picture to see Elizabeth we never made it the other week.
We have put our Christmas tree up. It has been up about 2 weeks. It was new and we didn't see the point of leaving it in the box until the 1st.
I have brought an advent candle and calender.

Hair Hell

Hi

I brought a hair dye from lush. Red. It comes in a henna block and you have to make it in to a goo yourself. his involves blue rubber gloves, a saucepan and a cheese grater (don't ask). Considering the price of the stuff you would have thought it would have come already made up. Alway I am sat in the living room with tin foil on my head, a bit like the kids from signs (I couldn't find any clingfilm). I have also managed to dye the bath a lovely bath and try and I might the stuff won't come off. I don't know what John is going to say. If you have any ideas what can get dye off a bath let me know please.

All in all the stuff isn't worth the effort. I still have 5 squares left. You are meant to use it all but I'm tight. I reconmend anyone wanting to try it to think very carefuly before you buy. Though it is better for your hair because it is all natual and no chemicals. It is really worth the effort. Would cares if your hair might fall out.

PS Do you think the pic.

Help me.

We don't have a telly. We just to be quite sweet when we first moved in together, we played cards and games all the time. That was BI (before the internet.) He is obsessed with it . and I getting like that as well. I need help.
BT was meant to ring tonight and haven't done so I'm quite cheesed off with them. I was reading in the Daily Mail that their Moto is putting customers first. What rubbish.

Golden compass.

John wants to go and see the golden compass film. Can anyone think of an excuse to get out of it because I think it looks rubbish? I loved the Philip Pullman book and don't really want to watch it Americanised. I think the only thing English is the song by Kate Bush.
I don't like the Lyra kid, she is the annoying one from War of the Worlds. I normally like Nicole Kidman. Maybe I will just go to watch Daniel Craig. Mummmmm!!!!!
Why Oh Why could they not find a nice English kid and make it in England.

Why Oh Why have they changed the name. Could the audience not cope with Northern Lights. Was there a dodgy film of the same name?

I know I'm being negative, but it is what I do best.

RULE BRITANNIA!!!!

Feeling better.

Hi
I'm feeling less grumpy now. Have rang BT they are playing us up. Charged us £125 randomly and have now cut off. John takes the softly softly approach and I used the firm, calm and slightly cheesed off approach. Guess who got further?

So sad

If you were to google the words fishcakes and dopperganger this is the only website which would come up.

Why Oh Why did I become a teacher?

Ok.
Fair enough I did have a sort of day off today, but I still had to be in school, and I still left at 5:30.
I seem to have no social life at all. I start work at 7:45 and leave at 5:30. I suppose that isn't too bad, but then I get home and work until 9:30. I don't go out, I have given up drinking, clubbing and I feel tired all the time. When I go to bed I often can't sleep because I'm thinking about the next day or about the piles of stuff I haven't got round to doing yet. I'm never seem to catch up.
I keep thinking that it is all because it is my first year and thing will get easier. But I'm told not, there are still teachers who are in school an hour before me and leave after me, dragging a huge pile of marking to the car and they have a family and small children as well. I don't understand how they manage.

As you can see, I'm feeling a bit run down. I can't go out on a weekday and I can't over exert myself at the weekend because I spend all week getting over it.

The house is a tip there is mountians of washing, to hell with the ironing. I think it will be easier to buy new clothes and pots and thrown the dirty ones away. After the party we had the other weekend I asked John if we could move so we could leave all the rubbish behind.

Anyway roll on the weekend. I'm not going to do anything apart from watch the washing pile increase. I'm cooking with the kids on Friday, I hope they remember to washing their hands.

MOT HELL

Hi.
Car went for a MOT to day. It wasn't as bad as a thought it might be. Cost £150 altogether to get it fixed. Still won't a new one though.
Have a day off tomorrow, I'm in school but not teaching. I think it is worst planing for someone else than doing it yourself.
I have to do collective worship on friends on Thursday so if anyone know of any stories or stuff I can do let me know. Also the kids in my class have to do a collective worship next week.

Think I in the wrong job.

Oh my God. I've had a heck of a day.
Imagine having a stonker of a headache and having to spend the day with an over active child who just won't calm down or shut up or listen to anything you have to say, plus it answers back because they of course know best. Now imagine the same situation but this time multiply it by 30. I think I should have locked myself in the cupboard. Oh plus in the afternoon we had music in which all 30 children were playing percussion instruments rather loudly.
Well headache has gone. I'm off to the pictures to see Elizabeth. Im not going to any work and I consider watching Elizabeth as work because we are doing the Tudors and it is research.
Car is in for an MOT tomorrow morning at 8. I need to clean it as it still has stuff in it from holiday.
Wish my car luck.

Christmas shopping.

Went Christams shopping today in Lincoln. It was as bad as thought it was going to be. The place was empty, except for Primark whihc I stayed clear from. I ended up getting a few bits. I was going to get Chiristmas decorations but had a job finding any. So if anyone knows where to get some nice ones from let me know. I don't want tack. Now I have a house I'm all grown up.

Sam.

PS I made this cake and decorated it. It was Dad 60th last Sept had a big party for him.

Thought this was quite cute.

Christmas is coming.

Well Christmas is going and I am back on the internet looking for ideas what to get people. It doesn't seem that long since I was doing the same thing last year.

So any of my family who read this I want ideas please. if you don't give me a list you will end up with stuff you don't want. I think I will buy you something completly horrid and you will have to pretend you like it and everytime I come round to your house I will meantion it so you will have to feel obliged to have it out on sort all the time. I'm thing something like a pink flock virgin Mary or a stuffed crow, or a huge plastic carrige clock made out of shells which lights up.

So please ideas.

Dear Santa

Thank you for last years presents. This year I would like a car.

Your best friend Sam.

I can't remember summer looking this good.
I want a new car. Mine is rubbish. The list of thing wrong with it is getting longer.
Clutch is making weird noises.
Handbrake feels funny.
It no long likes petrol so when I fill it up it shoots it back out at me. My new perfume of oduor la petrol.
The electric windows have given up. (tthis is a good thig as it mean John can't wind down the window when I'm driving.)
It keeps stalling still.
It has a small but important leak in the radiator.
That is about it.

We are going to a tupper ware party. We use to go to Anne Summers parties but we are now old.

So sorry

I'm so sorry that it has taken me so long to write this. Over a month since. But to make up for it I have prepared a list of excuses.

The dreaded Ofsted have been in.

I was kidnapped and John refused to pay the ransom. So I have to chew my way out.

The dog ate my computer.

John is arguing with BT so we can't get the internet.

Boston is a hell hole and so backward it doesn;t know what a computer is.

I'm working so hard that every evening my brain is fried.

Still living with John I can't get near to the computer to go on the internet. I'm only on it now because I have locked him out when he took the rubbish out.

Working full time has led me to drink.

I'm out clubbing all the time.

I'm not allow to use electricity because of how much it costs. John in insists on even taking to little light out of the fridge.

We spend all our time in the bedroom.

We argue so much that we have thrown our laptops at each other.

I have died.

Please appriciate the effort I have made here. I should be making books.

Loving my job

My job is ace. So what if I have to be there at 8 in the morning and don't leave till 6 then work when I get home till 9ish. Weekend what is a weekend? Went to Holly's last weekend still had work Sunday night. I'm loving the job.
The kids worship me, I'm like they God.
We scraped planning today and had a wicked day running loosely on a pirate theme. We made maps with coordinates and made a huge display. Also ate loads of cakes today which is alway good.
The house is great we are not arguing to much though when we do it is always Johns fault. Still have no telly, so desperate to watch a soap that I have started to listen to the archers.
I'm going to be a bit crap at posting at the moment as we don't have the internet and we are busy rowing with BT because of a stupid £125 charge for setting us up. I wouldn't be to bad if we could get hold of someone to talk to considering that they are a phone company you would have thought that they own more then one phone. John has spend about 5 hours trying to get though.

Yes

I think we have a house.
After loads of searching we have finally found something. It is like a dolls house. SMALL.
But there is only two of us.
It doesn't have anything with it. No cooker, fridge, bed, nothing. So we are on the scrounge. I'm wondering how much I can nick from home before Dad notices.

So much to do.

I never realised that there is so much to sort out even before I have started to teach. Of course I realised that there was going to be planning and all that but there is so much more.
The guy who was teaching in there before me has left the classroom in a bit of a state. I have just started to tidy out my cupboard and unearthed loads of stuff that the school have thought they had lost and teachers have been looking for for ages.
Blue tack is like gold. Which thankfully the teacher I'm replacing seemed to have a blue tack fetish so I have hordes of the stuff. Maybe I should start selling it.
The staff are really nice and extremely helpful. I don't think I'm any help at all with the planning. Two lovely people came in and did all the backing for the display boards for me, which is a God send. I have also been told that OFSTED is very likely to arrive in Oct. GOD HELP ME!
I haven't started my summer holiday yet. I'm in three days this week and three next week. Plus I would really like to find a little part time job over summer.
I've just spend the last three hours grouping the pupils. I think most of the summer is going to be taken up with lesson plan and display boards and trying to figure out how to organise things.
Feeling a little bogged down by it all.
So much for me become a teacher because of all the holidays. ONLY JOKING!!

Harry Potter

While I'm on the subject of Harry Potter I also went to see the film Order of the Phoenix. It was quite good though as with all the rest of the film they missed a great deal of stuff out and the fight scene in the ministry of Magic was poorly done and over far too quickly. The actor who play Harry is better in this film some of the other he is a bit poor. Ron is also done bettr in this film. Previously film Ron is portrayed as Harry funny and slightly stupid sidekick (totally unlike the books) but he is on par with Harry now.

HARRY POTTER.

I forgot to mention I have finished reading Harry Potter The Deathly Hallows. It is book seven and the final Harry Potter book.

It isn't really one of my favourite. Though it was pleasing to read and did hold my interest. Loads of people dies in it and JK doesn't seem to bothered who she kills off so she is able to shook the reader this way. Rowling seems to tie up lots of loose ends from the other books extremely quickly as if she didn't know what else to do with them. For example Percy who ran out on his family and was interested in any of them for about four books suddenly returns hugs his parents and all is well.

Another thing I have against this book is that there is an awful all of swearing in it. Which is quite annoying for a primary school teacher who had it in her mind to read it to the kids as a class book.

I also didn't like the very last chapter. What was that about? I think JK was trying to finalise the whole of Harry's life so she won't ever have to write about him again. Though I did read somewhere she was intending to write a prequel of the lives of Harry's parents. I say let them RIP.

I did enjoy it though and the plot was well thought through. I hope she doesn't write any more. I think the world has now had enough of Harry Potter. Lets leave him to live with his family in peace.
WRONG!!!
"I LOVE MY HORSE."

Feeling out of my depth

Wow I have so much work to do.
I went in the school for the first time and was in a staff meeting. Nearly everything they talked about seemed to be in a different language. I hardly understood any of it. Why did they not mention this at uni? Feeling rather worried that I won't be able to cope with it all.

Have started planning what I'm going to teach them next term. The planning I seem to understand, plus I'm planning with two other people who are really nice and don't seem to mind answering my rather naive and probably stupid questions.

Meeting again tomorrow, Wednesday and Friday. I also at some point have to sort out my classroom.

At last I have finally found a job.
It is in a lovely little school. I am going to be teaching year 4/5. They are not my ideal year but I'm sure it will be find.
I'm having to go in during the holidays to sort out my classroom and to put displays up and sort folders and generally see how to organise things.
The staff seem lovely and I went yesterday to meet everyone and had cream teas with them all.

Everyone has left me!

Everyone has gone away and left me.
Dad and Alice have gone off to Dorset for a week in their motor home. John has got a few days off so has swaned off the Yorkshire to go caving. Not one of them invited me to go with them. Don't they know me? I love going on holiday.
It is quite nice to know that I have got the whole house to myself for the week. I love being one my own. I have always wanted to live on my own just for a little while.

Happy Birthday to me.

Hi.
It was my birthday on Friday. Had a lovely day. Had to work in the afternoon but in the evening I went to a scout fete with Col, John, Peter and Katie it had a disco so did some dancing. Got lots of cool prezzies including a pottery painting set, the digital photo frame with changes my photo every 10 seconds, a trip to the hair dressers which it what I really needed my hair is crazy at the moment, socks, BBC drama collection and cool cups and biscuit tin ready for when I move out. So lots of really lovely things.
Yesterday Col, Vic and I went to the pottery in Boston and painted pots. I painted a heart shaped cake plate pink with muffins on it. Col painted a condiments plate loads of crazy colours and dots. Vic did a trinket box and did shading for one colour to another. Then in the evening we went to a 25th wedding party and danced some more.
Have been playing with my presents this morning have painted a pot and put some more photos on the photo frame. Also set up my punch bowl.

Weekend away

Hi.

Have just got back from a weekend away. I have a really nice time. There were six of us altogether. Dad and Alice in the camper, Col and Peter in the VW and John and I in the tent.

We didn't go to Longleat as it was really to far to go just for the weekend. I'm pleased we didn't because it was hardly a relaxing weekend. We must have walked for miles.

We got there Friday night and more or less went straight to the pub and played card most of the evening. On Saturday we caught the park and ride into York and when to the Castle Museam then had a wander around the town. In the evening we have a meal. On the Sunday we went to the railway museam. I have to say that a lot of train in a big shed isn't really my idea of a good time but as it was fathers day we went. It was ok. The royal trains are quite interesting and I have to say I'm a bit a of a royalist. As I have Monday off everyone put me and John headed back home. Then on the Monday we went to Castle Howard. This was my choice I have been moaning about it for ages. At the moment they are filming a film version of Brideshead revisited so there were loads of props and camera crew about. I didn't see any one famous. Emma Thompson was there filming as was Micheal Gambon.

All in all a good weekend. Roll on the next time we all go away. The Isle of Wright was mentioned in passing.

Catching up

Sorry it has been so long since I have written anything.
Have been really busy.
Trying to sort out a campsite to go to in Yorkshire. It needs to be near York and have a pub which does food. You wouldn't think it would be so difficult. Going away this weekend with Dad and Colleen. I wanted to go to Longleat but Dad doesn't think the camper van will make it that far. I'm in the tent.

Getting loads of work at the moment. People can't get enough of me. Schools want me all over the place. I have got another day in a local school until the end of term which is nice. Have use had to insure my car so I could do with the extra money.

Anyway better go

Raining

God I'm so bored. It is still raining.
Got paid so really want to go shopping and spend money. At the moment I have a thing about buying stuff for when I move out. But at the rate I'm going I will probably still be living with my Dad until I'm forty with a room stuff of useless stuff like, coffee jars and spatulas. Also trying to save for when I move out so defeating the object if I go and spend the day shopping for stuff I don't really need. Plus I went and brought two new dresses the other day.
Maybe the rain is good. I'm saving money, not driving so therefore saving petrol and I could use this time to make myself a better person, rather than play on the Internet all day or watch rubbish daytime telly. If I was still a student this would be a perfect day.

Camping

Hi
Decided to go away to Yorkshire again this weekend. The weather had been so nice before but as soon as we set off on Friday it started to rain. Luckily it stopped Friday night and we put up the tent. Had to borrow Katies as mine is currently been used.
On Saturday we went to Sedburgh and then looked at some waterfalls. On we climbed from the bottom on boulders up to it. We then went to Appleby. We had seen some of the Gypsy wagons on the side of the road and I wondered it they were at Appleby but unfortunatly I was two weeks early for the horse fair.
On Sunday it rained so we stayed in the tent as long as we could. It dried up enough to pack up. First we went to Bolton Abbey but as they were charging £5:50 for car park we didn't stop. Further down we stopped at How Stean Gorge. With in really pretty. There are some caves there which John went in and a stream which John fell in and a cafe which I went in out of the rain. We then went to Brimham rocks which are very random and quite spectacular.
So despite the weather a good weekend.

Catching up

Hi.
I hadn't realised that I haven't posted anything for two weeks. So this is a quick recap.
I have been very busy working. For the last month I have been in a lovely little school and have really enjoyed it. But that is over now thought I do have a day there tomorrow and in June. The requested me!!!
Next week is half term. I'm going away this next weekend not sure where or what in, as I have lent my tent to Col and Peter. I have a small rubbish tent but have also given Col and Peter all the tent pegs for it. Whoops.
Have just been hoeing Sugar beef to help Dad. We are now going to go to the golf range and hit a few balls.
See you soon.
Holly, Ben , Col and Peter all of you have a lovely holiday.
Katie nice to see you back at home.

A good day

I've have a lovely day today. The kids have been super which makes thing a lot easier.
This week has gone so quickly. I think it is because I've only been working four days.
Going to the school fate on Sunday. The dreaded maypole dancing. At the last rehersal we all ended up as one big knot. It took ages to unravel. Plus the pole is a bit unstable and keep falling down. This don't bode well at the moment. Lets hope it rains.
We did an experiment in Science growing cress but over the bank holiday no one watered it and I wasn' t in on the Tuesday so it has passed away and we have to start again. I'm not very good with keeping thing alive. I think went I have a flat of my own I will buy plastic ones. You get apparently buy plastic box hedges for your garden now so you don't have to keep watering and trimming them and plastic daffs. Due to the hot weather the Daffs were out earlier and a local tea shop stuck plastic ones in the lawn.

Anyway got to go.

Working.

Hi.
I've got two weeks full time in school. In two different schools. I have started a one day a week job in a local village school and as well as that I've got two weeks supply either where. Both school are really nice, the kids and the teachers.
Started to make Grapefruit wine yesterday. Managed to grate a finger in it

Have got everyone at our house tonight. Dad, Alice, Me, John, Colleen, Peter and Grandma and Whisky. going to play games and chill out with a few bottles.
Me and John have been together seven years today. How weird it that!!! Hopefully we are going to go away tomorrow.

Going to go now.

Is it me or are are thing going Crazy?

We have got told off because our dustbin lid wouldn't close and therefore the council wouldn't empty it. Bare in mind our rubbish is now only taken away every two weeks. We do recycle. We would have to take it all it the tip. Dad rings up the county council to voice his views. They said they would sent someone round to pick up the rubbish. They arrived next day with two men and a dustbin lorry. Is this saving the environment? How much extra did this cost? Crazy.

Holidays are over.

I had a fantastic Holiday.
We went to the Scottish highlands near Pitlochry. Had an ace time. Saw a really large hedge, an old tree and a fish ladder. We also walked up to the top of Ben Nevis. I wasn't planning on going only Katie, John and Vic were but I thought I would give it a go as they are I could always turn round. But I went all the way. And even though it was a sunny day there was six foot of snow at the top. It was heck of a walk and it did take us 10.5 hours. We were one of the first on it in the morning and the last to leave. And it isn't like Snowdon there is no cafe halfway up or a restaurant at the top, not a tacky souvenir in sight. I ached for days afterwards. These pictures are from there. Also did some high wire stuff which wasn't really very high scared me and my arms hurt from clinging on for dear life.
Worst part is coming home. I want to go back. Already planning where we are going next.

Quite mildly grumpy

There I am happy as anything looking forward to going away. Then blow me down something goes and spoils it. Typical!

THE JOB CENTRE. I'm still arguing with them about money they owe me from Christmas. When I go today I'm told that they have been paying me too much. Instead of waiting for me to give me pay slips to them they have paid me instead. So I think I have to pay it all back. £400!!!! Feeling quite annoyed. And slightly stupid because I didn't notice anything different in my bank statements. Someone is looking into it for me and I shoudl find out how much I pay back in a few weeks. It is a complete mess. So instead of enjoying myself in Scotland I'm going to be thinking about and watching how I spend my money. GRRRRRRR.

Busy Busy Busy

ONLY FOUR DAYS TO GO!!!!!

I love this part where you are now organising to get ready working out what clothes to take and thinking Are 6 pairs of shoes really too many? and Is there any likelihood of going clubbing even though it is in the middle of nowhere? Should I take my going out shoes? Should I take my make up? How many pairs of trousers should I take? At the moment I'm up to seven and considering I'm only going for seven (No make that eight pairs) days will I wear them all. I tend to find when I'm on holiday I'm live in the same comfy pair anyway.

I have looking it up on the map we are in fact in the middle of nowhere this is not an exaggeration. We are four (FOUR) miles from the nearest pub and this is as the crow flies, it is cross country and through forests to get there. Don't get me wrong I love to drink in pubs but I'm not sure four miles is worth it.. I have brought a hip flask to keep me going during the walk but it only holds about two mouth fulls Think I will have to take the bottle with me. Vic has brought two florescent jackets one for the person in front and one behind. I have a pantomine image that we are going to get scare off one by one until there is me left. I don't like walking in the dark, in fact I'm not a great fan of walking at all. But in the dark I imagine thing which are not there and people hiding ready the get me. I always hope they will get someone else instead. I'm one of these people who sees dead people (not like the TV programme or sixth sense) but I always think that if it is dark and thing are creepyer in the dark I think I am going to come across a dead person (as in a corpse).
Anyway enought of me ranting.

Scotland here we come.

Hi.
There is under 2 weeks till we go way to Scotland. I have started packing already. I live for going on holiday. It doesn't have to be much or far or for very long but the knowledge that you are going away in the near future keeps me going in the present.
We are going to a Pitlochry. It is in the highlands. I have never been to Scotland before really looking forward to it. I have been looking on the internet and there is so much we can do in the area. I only problem is that I'm not taking my car so therefore can no escape if I need to. I suppose I can always take a walk.

Clocks

HELP. The clocks have changed I have lost an hour of my life. Stopped at Johns last time which meant I had to get up early with him to work and as I've lost an hour I got woken up at 4am. 4am!!! crazy time of the day. This is a time which don't very often see. Maybe I should be grateful to John for giving me the opportunity to see it?

Mummmmm Cake

Hi.

Have just finished making and baking Vicky's birhtday cake. I started this morning at 11 and have only just finished. It is a bit pink. It wasn't meant to be this pink I spilt the pink colouring. Never main so likes pink. I'm quite pleased with myself. I rang her up this morning while I was making the flowers on it. She was saying that she wasn't going to get a cake this year. WRONG. I just hope it taste ok. Going to give her it today. I haven't got anything to store it in. Hope she likes it.

PS I have to use a marker pen to write on it. It was the only thing I had must remember to tell people they can't eat that bit.

Not working again

Hi.
It has been a very slow week. I haven't had a day of work. Nor have I had any money from the job centre because they are still looking into my claim. So I bit poor at the moment.
Though I did go shopping yesterday. I brought a fantastic pair of trousers from next. They are going to be my paddling trousers for when I go gold panning in Scotland. This is because you can tie them up and make them shorter. I also brought two nice tops as well. But don't worry I didn;t spend any money because I has some vouchers left over from Christmas.
Going to Amsterdam on Thursday. Really looking forward to it. We are going to the Science meseam there it is meant to be really cool and very hands on.
Went to Vic's at the weekend had Hol a friend from uni down. It was really nice to catch up.
Any way going now.

Working

Hi.
Gosh I'm I feeling rough. Got a cold. Think it is from shouting at small children. Or maybe they have just given me all their nasty germs. Most of the staff are off at the school I'm teaching in. Great for me as I'm working, but feeling rough. Might have to go and hide in the cupboard.
I've had a lovely day today. I think most of the children are too ill to fight back.

Only have a week to go and it is half term. Think I may have to spend all week in bed.

Welcome to February.

Hi.
I always think February is a funny month to spell. It should be spelt as it sounds Feb-ur-ary.
Any way it has to be better than January. It is the worst month for suicides. The weather is cold, it is dark and gloomy in the mornings. so all you want to do is stick you head under the blankets and go back to sleep until March. I don';t see why we (humans) don't hibinate. Wouldn't it be fantastic that come end of November to store enough food till March and curl up in a ball and sleep. Maybe it is just me being lazy.

I balls up the other day. I thought I was working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. Wrong!!! At 9:15 on Tuesday got a call asking where I was!! IN BED WHERE ALL THE NORMAL PEOPLE ARE ON THEIR DAY OFF. Apparently I was in Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoon. As in all day Tuesday and Wednesday but only in on Thursday afternoon. ARSE! Felt a bit of a prat. Nevermind.

Snow

Hi
Happy Birthday Hol.

I'm unemployed today. We working yesterday in a local school. The morning was lovely but I don't know what they gave them for lunch because they turn into screaming monsters in the afternoon. All I wanted to do we to hid in the cupboard or better still put all the children into the cupboard and let them fight it out.

It is snowing here. Don't really like to snow, sure it is pretty and makes even the crappest council estate like good. But I hate driving, walking and just generally being outside in the snow. But sure enough even year it snows I have to make the obligertre snowman and take a walk in it and take some lovely snowy pictures. I think if I resigned myself to sitting inside with a coffee (Not hot chocolate because that means your old) and watching the snow (for about 2 minutes because lets face it watching falling snow is about as most fun as cleaning the goldfish tank. It is some thing that needs to be done.) it means I'm getting old and cranky because only the young and crazy enjoy getting so wet and cold and you can't feel your arms and legs.

Right I'm going to take the rubbish out. This way at least I can say I've been outside in the snow and took a walk.

Hi.
Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while. What with all the excitment of Christmas, new year and working I haven't really had time.

I'm still looking for work. It has slowed up again now. I think it will pick up again near Easter. Think I might have to look for a weekend job in Boston to keep me tide over.

I have also booked a trip to Amsterdam in March. Going with Vicky. Really looking forward to it. I've not been before. So if anyone has any ideas of where to go let me know.

See you soon
Love Sam.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Hi. HAPPY NEW YEAR. I hope you all had a fantastic new year. I did. Well what I can remember of it was great. I have a lovely start to the new year. I have been working for the last 6 days. Loads of money. Shame it is a tough school though. Here are some lovely pics of our new years party. I have been careful as to which ones to put on to spare people blushes.
